While researching today's or tomorrow's MJ sample, I came across an oldie but goodie from my childhood. I'm young, so when I was given Michael Jackson's 'Invincible' as a birthday gift, I went berserk with it. One of the songs I remember the most was his 'Break of Dawn.'
And it sorta reminded me of U.N.I.'s remix to their song, Beautiful Day.
Fast-forward a bit 'til you hear it.
But um, yeah.

Why have I never heard of Zoot Woman before today?
And why am I just getting around to listening to Mickey Factz
' take on the song, added to my library a year ago.

'Cause I don't know what songs to post.
And, videos have moving pictures in 'em. And that's always cool.
I've been thrilled by Mickey Factz's Another Star featuring Pete Hadar (which I think is a lil' unnecessary, but welcome nonetheless.) simply because I discovered that song not too long ago, (thanks DJ Pase Rock!) and loved it. I was thinking, how in the hell will Mickey rap over this, thank God he was up for the challenge...
thanks to Crunktastical, I've been introduced to Ninjasonik, who apparently doesn't know that profanity in the form of "nigga" "f#ck" and whatnot, is not allowed on 106 & Park. I guess he thought it made him seem 'certified' from the start, but without further ado,
As one Youtuber says,
"Omg, this video was so terrible, I think it gave me cancer."
But Fresh was dead on when she said,
"Men who love wearing skin tight pants now have a national anthem. Lift every voice and sing! I can hear Mikey from The Cool Kids [whom I heart] on the remix."
But try as he might, he's not DJ Mehdi,

Wow, I'm thrilled! My internet is finally up and running, and I've got a chance to catch up on all the music downloads that've been flying left and right for the last few weeks.
For one, Mickey Factz keeps dropping new ish! And by new ish, I mean mixtapes, from Heaven's Fallout to Back to the Future...and he 'got Marty McFly kicks on!'
I'm not going to risk my bandwidth limit on those...but it's oh so tempting...
What else, I really wanna see the Glow in the Dark tour when it hits DC...or is it Virginia? Either or, need to be there!
And Rock the Bells!
What's a 16 year old got to do to get some tickets around here? And a travelin' buddy?
Sheesh.

You already know, or maybe you don't
that NERD might have a new single, 'Everyone Nose.'
I'm not going to give Pharrell anymore publicity than he needs -or am I?- by posting it.
But I do love it, and do think awesome, frantic, crazily sampled music needs to be shared.
Not freely or anything, but you get the idea.
But I will post the Fader's link to the new single.
And in the vein of the Six Degrees, I'll put up something similar that I'm feeling to the point of insanity.
These dudes, B.O.B. (Thank you Fader for puttin' me on to him!) and Mickey Factz, are quickly filling up my Zen's 20GB with their free azz mixtapes, and I couldn't be happier to delete boring songs that I never listened to in the first place to replace them with some dope lil' goodies.
