I posted this a year ago, the previous late October, and I always mean to post it earlier in the late stage of October, like maybe the 16th or so, but it's been late both times. Whatever.
Never too late to spread the music.
I'm gonna take a break for Hallow's Eve, ya'll have a great weekend and halloween party and stuff.

I used to make fun of my sister for liking a song so depressing. It's didn't think it was a happy song at all.
Just take these lyrics,
You let me stand alone
Out in the wilderness
Alone in the cold
I found no magic potion
No horse with wings to fly
I found a poison apple
My destiny to die"
But after listen after listen, I grew to love the song.
It wasn't depressing, it was real. Life isn't a fairy tale and when 'reality steps into view,' you can't ignore it, you just accept that fairy tales aren't reality.
So without further ado, get your Anita on.
Enjoy!

I almost exited from my window when I saw this, 'cause I figured, 'This ish ain't worth it.'
DON'T...DO IT!
This made me so giddy and happy to see, I don't know what it is about it, but I immensely enjoyed it.
If you're a daft punk, you should enjoy this.
If you're not, you'll enjoy this.
Isn't that bad.
I'm sorry, but I love it, and am not afraid to say it.

I think I've expressed before my love of Poe,
But ya'll don't hear me though.
This is a gem I just recently uncovered -I'm still recovering from my Napster detox- and I thought I'd share this bit of gold with the townspeople.

I can imagine to the untrained native English speaking eye, lil' kids singing about Alcohol may seem a lil', uh, wrong.
Well it's harmless, really, the only alcohol they're hip with is "só para desinfetar," only for disinfecting purposes.
The Pharcyde.
Enjoy!

Seeing this video and being mesmerized by it.
The colors, the reverse, the song....by golly the song...
You know what, I think it's time for a sing-along,
There’s nothing that can’t be done
But how long should it take somebody
Before they can be someone
‘Cause I know there’s got to be another level
Somewhere closer to the other side
And I’m feeling like it’s now or never
Can I break the spell of the typical
I’ve lived through my share of misfortune
And I’ve worked in the blazing sun
But how long should it take somebody
Before they can be someone
Cause I know there’s got to be another level
Somewhere closer to the other side
And I’m feeling like it’s now or never
Can I break the spell of the typical, the typical, the typical, uh huh
I'm the typical
I'm the typical
Can I break the spell of the typical
Because it’s dragging me down
I’d like to know about when
When does it all turn around
I'm just the typical
I'm just the typical
Yeah I know there’s got to be another level
Somewhere closer to the other side
And I’m feeling like it’s now or never
Can I break the spell of the typical
The typical, the typical, uh huh
Of the typical
Break the spell (of the typical)
Break the spell (of the typical)
Can I break the spell of the typical, of the typical
I'm just the typical
I'm just the typical
I'm just the typical
I'm just the typical

I would have never heard this song.
I don't recall when, probably about two years ago maybe...
But I was doing my monthly artist update online, where I check for new releases and concert listings, the usual, when I stumbled across a website and heard this song playing.
I immediately stopped what I was doing and scoured the site for where the lil' music widget was.
And I discovered this gem,
DJ Kentaro is the first Japanese winner of the annual DMC World DJ Championship, and dude knows his bass.
If you don't believe me, play this song loud and just 'turn up the bass and let your truck rattle.'
It's hard to listen to without dancing so go ahead, 'put in work.' I won't judge you.
Enjoy!

I remember these songs as if I heard them yesterday, when really it was about ten years ago.
Jeez, I'm old.
Anyway,
This one was a favorite of mine, I'd go around the house rapping it, and my father would think I was crazy.
ENJOY!
