While there's been plenty to love (Baaaarack Obammmmaaaaa!)
There's also been plenty to frown at ...
(Livin is very competitive
Hassling creditors, hazardous accidents/ Driving with negligence
Too many beverages, people got to many things on they letters/
Says Tv's deadliest, professing the ugliest/
War, war, war, war!)
So for the bad things, I say Wash It Down...
And, you be alright.
See you next year...

As much as I love writing list, I'm really not in the mood to now, lol, maybe later.
So if you were expecting a list, sorry. I just don't have the time!
But I can show you my favorite song of 2008.

I love Christmas. It's one of the best holidays on the calendar (The first best is my birthday).
So when it comes to Christmas music, of course I love the obligatory, "This Christmas" by Donny Hathaway, "Give Love on Christmas Day" by the Jackson 5, but one that always stands out to me is Clarence Carter's "Back Door Santa."
For one, the song isn't really about Christmas at all, just about a pimp in the old sense of the word, who "makes all the little girls happy while the boys are out to play."
Yeah, that kind of santa.
This kind, you don't want coming down your chimney during the holidays.
Nevertheless, the song's title makes it a staple of Christmas rotations, and so, I present to you,

Dear Napster,
It's been a long time coming. So I'm gonna give it to you straight. (wow, didn't mean to sound so double entendre-y!)
My father was heavy on the Napster use. Therefore, I became dependent on it as well, making playlists to play while I was on the computer.
Because I had such a heavy load of music on Napster, my father bought me a Zen Micro. Loved it, loved it, loved it...
to death.
Poor thing started having seizures, or in regular terms, freezing up, because of the heavy load I put on it. While other people were chasing Ipods, I needed a larger Zen to handle the music you supplied me.
Little did I know, Napster, you were sucking me dry. Subscribing for about three or five years and owning only two songs. What kinda chitlins is that?
So my collection of MP3 players to satisfy my apetite for music and your pickiness went from Creative Zen Micros to Toshiba Gigabeats to Creative Zen Micros to Sandisk Sansas and now, to nothing.
Our love affair of five years or so, is over.
I know you gon' miss me (and the hundred or so dollars paid to keep those 3,000 or so songs with only owning two.)
Oh, I know, you think I'm devastated having my 4,000 songs and going library reduced to 2,673.
I am, it's true.
But I will rebuild.
I've been buying CDs to ween myself from your grip for the past few years now. Sure, I'm a little two thousand songs unprepared for your abrubt departure, but I'll rebuild. I read the liner notes! I like the album artwork!
I will rebuild!
And even if my budget doesn't allow me to buy as many CDs -especially since quite a bit of them were out of print, can you imagine the Ebay price????-- it will allow me to get a subscription to somewhere else.
Rhapsody had some pretty nice commercials, maybe I should check him out.
Or maybe, it's time to jump on the Ipod bandwagon.
Either way, Napster, it's over.
Good riddings.

Winter months are usually a good time for me, I feel much healthier considering that most of what I'm allergic to is either dead, hibernating, or simply in remission. For some reason, my body just refuses to stop reacting to things, and I've been suffering for the past month or so.
I can't believe I have to deal with allergies+ bad weather, when I can have my allergies and good weather just five months away. Times like this, I begin to long for those summer months.
So before I begin the 'Summer Wishes' playlists again, I'll just give you a taste of what's to come.
Here's Peanut Butter Wolf's remix of the Free Design's Umbrellas.
Matter of fact, this might just be my theme song.

Sure I may have wanted to laugh when I first saw it, but yeah, I understand where you're coming from.

Instead of the usual lyric of the week, I have to give you this. It's too dope, impeccably dope to keep to myself.

Just to refresh your memory...
